Childhood Apraxia of Speech Services
(CAS)
CAS is characterized by difficulties in planning and coordinating the precise movements of the articulatory muscles (e.g., lips, tongue, and jaw) required for speech production. CAS is a motor speech disorder, which means it primarily affects the motor planning and execution aspects of speech production.
