I can't say enough good about Erica; she is an amazing therapist!! (Client) is developmentally delayed, on the autism spectrum and she tailored the sessions to optimally support his learning, application and retention. I practiced with (client) between sessions and would periodically report back to Erica how things were going in advance of our next session. Erica would apply that feedback and navigate the next session with that in mind. She also monitored his progress to eventually normalize his speech into everyday life and (client) really resonated with that. Erica also allowed me to attend sessions to take notes and help (client) with reinforcement. This was a huge factor that enabled him to apply what he practiced. Given his autism, if left to his own devices, he would not have practiced on his own. Erica was so adept at layering on skill building to enable (client) to learn at a pace he could handle and monitored carefully. She also provided education regarding what he was working on so he could understand why he was doing what he was doing and once it made sense to him, it enabled easier application. I could go on and on. Erica is such an asset to your organization - her knowledge, demeanor, discernment, patience, encouragement, feedback, all contributed to an outstanding experience. Thank you Erica for all you do!
